— Ansel Adams

"All your Facebook Friends, on your real-life wall."
Blueprints is our new Facebook printing site, and the youngest member of our family of print services. With so many photos posted everyday, we knew that if we were going to build the first service exclusively for printing Facebook photos we had to do it right. Try it out, and let us know what you think!

"What I believe to be true I must therefore preserve. What seems to me so obvious, even against me, I must support."
- Albert Camus
The Preserved is an ever-developing photography project still in an early phase. Each month we share 1-2 images captured in our studio and email them out to subscribers along with a small text. The Preserved is related to a larger company vision to explore and expand our creative and productive capacities. We want to generate projects and collaborations that can dig into contemporary issues, pose questions, and detonate concepts.

"The act of the piñata in its own right is kind of subversive – taking this beautiful object and destroying it. At any ritual gathering, the idea of transformation is important – blowing out candles, burning something or breaking something. Every culture has that."
— Kate Clark
Collectively we have over 20 years of Piñata-making experience. Our aspiration is that one day we might find the client willing to challenge us with a large-scale Piñata project. We promise to integrate all the bells and whistles like lasers, robots, and iPads we know you want.
"The studio is not an isolated discrete object. It is an organic system with machine parts; it is a space partialy fixed, partially fluid, willing to engage fluctuations and disturbances"
— Bruce Mau

We are excitable.

We use instagram.
We are on facebook.
We understand the internet.
We want to do more.
We get things done.
"Don't worry about what anybody else is going to do. The best way to predict the future is to invent it."
— Alan Kay
If you visit our offices, you will find a number of large boxes painted in bright colors. We call them sleeping boxes and everyone who joins the company gets one. Yes, we nap in them, yes we sleep in them, yes they are small, but they are cozy and we love them. Someday you will understand.
We share company context on Instagram and Twitter and try to keep things active and honest.
"The less confident you are, the more serious you have to act."
— Tara Ploughman
We are a relentless core group of designers and makers trying to push things subtly in strange directions. We all work together to create engaging and thoughtful products and experiences. For many of us, it’s our first company, which creates an interesting energy in the office or wherever we find ourselves working.
"If our goal is to write poetry, the only way we are likely to be any good is to try to be as great as the best."
— Donald Hall

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."
— Mark Twain
We are growing and are looking for the right people to join us in our quest. We would love to connect with Web Engineers and Designers, but we'll always have our doors open to smart people willing to learn. With way more work than we can handle, there is plenty of opportunity to sieze power.
Our main office is in the SOMA neighborhood of San Francisco and we're glad to have you drop by, or meet anywhere for coffee, beer, or whatever else.
