Daily Calendar

The cube calendar is a very unique gift. A family member received one from her daughter last year and it was so special. Each day a new memory is revealed and all days can be put at the rear of the deck and reused another year since the actual year is not printed on the calendar pages. Coming up with 365 unique photos sounded like a challenge, but I already have plenty to do another set next year. The biggest challenge was not having any duplicate pictures among the 365. If you forget to save every time you leave the project to get more photos, then you lose what you added during the last session. There's a definite rhythm that you have to get used to. I did the hard way, but hope in the end I deleted all doubles. I ordered 3 sets and they arrived quickly. One set is for each son, and the third is for my hubby who is battling memory loss. Hopefully, he will enjoy revealing a new lost memory every day next year. They are packaged so nicely that I didn't want to open to peek at my project. I trust that I will enjoy the daily photos as much as I hope the rest of them will. God willing, I may do this again next year.

The desktop version is super easy to use and easy to make changes (move pictures, swap pictures, crop etc) The app version is better for getting photos off your device but if you decide to swap one out, it's a lot harder. When you populate the month it shows used photos but if you want to swap one out, it doesn't show which ones you have used making it really hard to make sure not to use a photo more than once. Also, the two versions don't pair. I would love to be able to get the photos off my device then hop onto my desktop (bigger screen, easier to see and to use) to do the final editing.
